Meandering or Wasting Time

February 17th, 2005 · No Comments · Uncategorized

How do we know if we are engaging in worthwhile meandering or if we are simply wasting our time? I’ve been asking myself some form of this question for years and don’t know if I yet have the answer. Maybe working in this space and spending some time here while developing relationships with fellow “meanderers” will help me – help us all – develop some insights that will lead us to find those answers we sometimes so desperately seek. I will pray that it will.

For now it is enough to ask the question.

“Meandering” and “wander” are words that paint such an aimless picture. Hopelessness. There has got to be some meaningful description that would give your BLOG a more visionary purpose. Even if the BLOG is just a place to dump all the words in your head, it seems that a word like “enigmatic” or “enigmatical” would paint a picture of puzzled steps. Instead of aimlessness the BLOG is a bunch of enigmatic postings which one could puzzle over and may lead one to discover insights or develop relationships.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but meandering or wandering seems so very aimless and discouraging. Your writing seems much more hopeful or inspirational than that.
