Elk_in_River.jpg

Even when I was so deathly (truly) ill a couple of weeks ago, I was able to sit out on the deck of our high-perched cabin deck (some 400 feet above the river below) for a short while in the sun and shoot this photo of the elk below on the hillside (look closely) and in the river.  The leader of the clan of 20 or so, the stag in the center in the river, kept watch the entire 3 hours we watched them.  God watched over them.  And me.

Thanks be to God our father for his care and safekeeping.  Thank you Father for bringing me through.

Dee

P. S.  This is my current desktop photo and it makes me want to weep.  As now.  It will be till here until the next "Finding Direction" photo contest.

I love you all.  Truly.
