We have very little winter water in Las Vegas, but maybe I can get creative with a bathtub/bubbles shot of my little ones? Of course, as soon as I started thinking this, my husband calls to tell me that it’s SNOWING in the parking lot where he works, about two miles from home. I opened the blinds to see if we were getting any flakes (thinking, “wow, I can get a SNOW shot from Las Vegas of all places”), but alas, nothing. Maybe hubby can get a shot with his phone/camera - although I expect it won’t make for a great desktop picture.

While the “no money, no motive” rule may apply in some circles, Greg, and certainly among most, if not all televangelists, the 2nd Annual FDWDPC is above such a level and the contestants enter for the outstanding prestige offered, not the money.

There are just a few things in life more important than monetary gain and while the FD Judges can’t think of any specifically, other than winning in the 2nd Annual FDWDPC, the Judges are such there are some. The Judges are just too busy perusing the entries thus far received and fielding questions to be on a quest for non-monetary incentives.

As for the idea of holding a “most mournful sound” contest or the like - that’s not a bad idea and, in fact, the FD Judges have been considering podcasting as the next step in the growth of the FD blog. Thus, the FD Judges will see what they can do to perhaps initiate further sound recording contests, which idea presents excellent possibilities.

Geez, Brad, give us a break! You can sling a dead cat and hit the White House from where you live … all you need to find water is take a picture of any Repbullican in DC. There’s got to be tears on those guys. What about pictures of the soggy carpet pulled from your offices after the flood?

As for the “No $$” rule … what’s a budding televangelist to think of that?? No money, no motive. What’s this world coming to?

If you ever have a “most mournful sound” contest, a tape recording of the psycho-pup on most any afternoon around 5 prior to being walked would be a sure winner!
