To Cecil's comment about Pepperdine, I might add that attending classes / lectures is strictly optional. Randy holds wonderful classes at MFC (Malibu Fish Company) about 5 miles north of the campus.

The ribs and the brisket sound good. You and Tom need to fly out to the Pepperdine Bible Lectures so you can hang out with Greg and me. We know a great place for tri-tip.

Cecil -

You know Greg - always saying that doing things are "the least I can do . . . and I always try to do the least I can." Thus, I am not surprised that Mr. England suggests we provide airline tickets and rental cars for all my blog friends to make it for the Open House when our home is completed.

And thank you so much, Cecil, for your more than generous offer to chip in on the bbq. What would you like to see served. Perhaps some of Tom's award winning baby back hickory smoked ribs? Or a heavenly marinated and smoked brisket that he's also good at.

As for Greg - we'll set up hot dogs over on the side of the grill!

MAK -

We are hoping to have the house finished by the end of March or first part of April. If we can get moved into the house before the end of April, we'll be quite happy!

Looking good Dee! Can't wait to see the finished product. Do you have a completion date?

I can't believe Greg. Pay for our air fare and rental cars at your housewarming? I'll help with the cost of the bbq. How about that? Wouldn't it be wonderful for all of us to meet at some time? The house is looking good. I remember when we were building out home. When the workers were at the site it was a rush and then when nobody was there it was a let down.

I'm happy for you and Tom! When the house is complete, I suggest you invite all the blog community to come for a bbq ... of course, you'll need to provide airline tickets and rental cars, but I'm sure you can pull that off.

Wow - Looks great. I'm jealous for 2 reasons
1. There's no snow
2. It's always exciting getting a new place but I've never actually had one built from scratch with our choices in design.

OTOH I'm not envious at about the reasons that led to the need for this new home. I pray that God continues to bless you as he "blows" you in this new direction.

God Bless
