Yep – just one thought. (ha!) That’s all I have time for since I’ve got to get busy packing for our . . . "road trip, road trip!" Several of my friends thought we were leaving yesterday (for Oxford – see Monday’s post) because I wrote so excitedly about it here on Monday. I’m just excited because the last time I got to go somewhere with Tom was last September on the infamous New Mexico-Colorado trip and that’s been a while.
Plus the last couple of days have been very stressful house building wise. I don’t have time to share it all with you, but believe me it was taking everything I had in me Monday to hold up to my fruits of the Spirit word for the day to be "Good." Then yesterday my phrase was to "Bear all others in love!" I did well, but actually the person I needed to bear most in love was myself because I was really stressed out.
For one thing I was looking at kitchen cabinets and they are very expensive. Very. We met then late yesterday afternoon with our builder’s custom cabinet maker who our builder says does an excellent job that he’ll put up against any commercial cabinet and less expensively.
He took accurate measurements and we discussed everything I wanted in great detail. He’s an older typical rural Mississippi gentleman and said "you’re really particular, aren’t you?"
"Who, me?!!, I thought to myself, but didn’t say anything.
It’s just that I’ve been dreaming of building a house for years and have looked at every possible combination of cabinets and styling and detailed work on them and in them that entire 12 years. So, I guess I do know exactly what I want, and I intend, as much as lies in me (within monetary limitations), to have it since this is going to be IT.
Speaking of "it," that’s going to be it for today because I’ve got to go get myself ready. Here is one final thought for the day for you, though.
Cheers & Blessings to you all today! I’ll blog next when I can, hopefully tomorrow. Dee
