Word For The Week – Humility

April 29th, 2007 · 2 Comments · Blogging, Inspirational, Reflections, Spirituality

I don’t know how many of you have been working on fruits of the Spirit words every day since I posted about planting a garden back a while, but I have.

However, I’ve been thinking that one day isn’t long enough sometimes to really get the chance to put into practice and apply my word and/or phrase for that day.  So I’ve decided to try something different.

Here’s what I want to do.  Pick out a new word/phrase every Sunday and post it here at Finding Direction where we can all work on the same word/phrase all week long.  How about that?

Today’s word I picked at random for this week is:  Humble (practice Humility) – Eph. 4:2.  So please join me in seeing if we can all work together this week to be more humble in our service to the Lord.

Thanks!  Dee

Well, now that I’ve got that dadblasted song “Oh Lord, It’s Hard to Be Humble,” rattling through my brain. I will do my very best today. But given the only dealings I’ll be having with anyone today are my children, it’s bound to be interesting. :)
