When I posted pictures Wednesday, I forgot to put any new pictures of our back porch, so must include those since it will be one of our favorite "rooms!"
(I’ve also posted these plus a couple more on my "Creating A Home" page tabbed at the top of this page if you’d like to go check the entire process out.)

This first one was taken from the corner by the screening. You can see that all of the taupe colored siding is now put in.

This picture is taken from the corner of our deck looking back at the porch. A good Texas friend saw these yesterday and commented that you would never see such a thing as a big screened in porch on a brand new home in Texas! (They live near Austin.) But around here, if you want to stay alive and not be bombarded by mosquitoes, you have to have screened in porches!

This is a more straight-on view of the porch. We deliberately got a wooden screen door so it would "wap" when you shut it just like in the "good ol’ days!"
Cheers & Blessings to you today! Dee
P. S. And be sure to watch for our Word of the Week to be published here tomorrow for this next week’s emulation.

I just scrolled through all the pictures on your “Creating a Home” page and it’s interesting to see it all come together, though it’s been a LONG ordeal for you.
I miss the good old days and the wrap, of granny’s old screen door
