I don’t have but a few moments here (one remaining cup of coffee is my limit) because I have been extremely busy since I’ve been home and will be the rest of the week. I had had doctor’s appointments and one other one scheduled for each day this week besides Monday for a long time and so just slipped my week long trip to Virginia in between them.
Plus, Tom failed to get any laundry done the entire week I was gone (imagine that!?!) and also didn’t quite have the time (because he was out having too much fun playing!) to get the place cleaned up and straightened up a bit before I got home, which he usually is very good about . . . so-o-o-o-o.
So – I must apologize to all of you who are my blogging friends for my lack of commenting this week. I profusely (and I mean that – profusely) apologize because that is often the highlight and brightener for the day for a blogger. To hear from readers and commenters. Truly it is, friends.
I haven’t even unpacked my big suitcase yet, y’all. I’m still living out of it since I got home.
The good news is that things are coming along on our house with the brick work being nearly finished up. Probably will be this week. We are pretty much in waiting mode at the moment, though, for the kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. So pray for us that those will be in soon so that we can get our house finished and moved in before the June 21-23 Mississippi Press Association convention in Biloxi. Tom is going to be sworn in as the next MPA President for this coming year. Isn’t that exciting?! President over all Mississippi newspaper members.
Oops – my coffee is nearly gone, so I must go. But one last important thing before tomorrow. Here’s a picture of my cute grandkids that I was visiting all week this last week, Tiarnan on the left and Brendan on the right. I know – Brendan has his big blue eyes closed, but it’s still a cute picture. I’ll post more when I have time and of David and their beautiful home in the hills of Virginia.
Cheers & Blessings to you all today! And please pray for David again as his kidney stone is now passing from his bladder out the urethra tube he said yesterday and he is in pain again. Ouch! Much love to you all – Dee

Ouch indeed!
Sweet as family time is it is always good to get home. Glad you had a good and safe trip.
Tom didn’t get the house cleaned? Dee, he was too busy getting ready for his new (congrats by the way) “Administration.”
Tell Tom thanks for not making all of us slugs, I mean husbands look bad.
Yikes! Just reading about that stone moving is painful. Glad you’re home … seems, though, you may need to do a bit of “re-training” with Tom!
What a precious picture! Glad you made it home safe and sound.
You got some cute grandkids, Dee!
Congrats on Tom’s “new job”, that must be very exciting.
I will remember David in my prayers!
God’s Grace.
Finish up praying and swearing in and get out the Loratabs for that pain!
Peace.
