if ya have every heard a whipperwill call, it sounds like they are saying whippoorbill, I always wondered what poor bill did!

I’m glad you are feeling more settled. I love watching our hummingbirds. I have a couple of feeders outside a kitchen window. I just hope you don’t have as many mosquitos as we do! We’ve had a lot of rain lately and they’re everywhere at any time of day.

Hummingbirds remind me of two things, my childhood and Colorado. Growing up in Florida in the 70’s we had an abundance of hummingbirds but for some reason they for the most part disappeared.

Backcountry hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park brought us into contact with the little rascals as well.

Glad things are humming along at your place.
