I said after the recent photo contest that I would run all of the pictures of the children and grandchildren soon, so today is kids' day here.  Grandkids will either follow next time or shortly thereafter.

Some great shots came in and I loved them all.  I hope y'all will, too.

A lot of entrants didn't send in the names of their kids, so I can't give you those.  I will try to identify whose kids are whose as best as I can.  I think I can do it.  I seem to have lost a couple of names on my list somehow, but I'll do the best I can.

Here goes.  In no particular order.

The first is a photo of Cecil Walker's son, Steven, playing baseball this summer.

The next is a 4th of July collage of Char Huskins' two boys and a girl.

My church friend Dianna Cyphers sent the following photo of a couple of orphans from their orphanage in Haiti where she and her husband minister.  Aren't they darling?!  The baby is Daelle.

Reader and fellow blogger, Laura Tucker, sent photos of her daughter in the surf of Lake Michigan and then a picture of her son in a playground.  Enjoy!

Les Ferguson of Wayfarer's Trek sent a photo of his little son, Casey, sitting in a chair.  He's a cutie, as are all the kids.

Then, of course, there's Patrick Mead's proud photo of his son, Duncan, who just finished basic training as a Marine.

Nancy French sent two photos of her kids with their cousins, but one of them (the two girls in the bubble bath) ran the day of the photo contest, so I won't run it again.  The one today is of her son and his cousin sitting on a fence that she called "Country Cousins."

The other picture Nancy sent of her son with his frog she called "Froggy."  And it is that!

Last, but not least are TCS's two photos of his sons Caleb (in the water) and Titus (building a sand castle).  The photos were both taken at Rosemary Beach, Florida where they were on vacation this summer.  Great shots, Tommy!

First, Caleb in the surf:

Next, Titus building a sand castle:

Being lazy today, I didn't throw in any links to any of the photographers' blogs.  If you'd like to have any of those, please leave a comment and let me know and I'll post them for you.  It's a lot of work and I'm already late getting these photos to you all.  Most of the links can be found in my blog lists on the right side of the page here.

And, like I said above, I'll post all the pictures people sent of their grandkids next time or soon thereafter so watch for those.

Y'all comment and let everyone know what great kid pictures they took and how good looking all their kids are, ya' hear?!  Everyone wants to know that they have beautiful, good looking offspring.

Cheers & Blessings to you all today!  Dee

Thanks for posting these… after a VERY long, hot few months in Las Vegas, I’m ready for summer to be over, but it was fun to see a “summer recap” through the kids’ eyes/pics. :-)
