I think my blood has thinned from living in the south for so long. It’s turned cooler and I’m about to freeze to death. The high yesterday was 56 degrees and it was cloudy all day and windy and damp.
This morning it is still windy with northwest wind blowing across with still lots of clouds. But, the sun is trying to peek through, so maybe it will warm things up a bit.
In the house it is only 70 degrees and I have a soft sweat shirt jacket on while I drink some coffee to try to warm up my bones.
It’s a bummer feeling so cold all the time. But then, cold is relative. It’s certainly a close relative of mine!

I get some of the strangest hits here at Finding Direction. I was looking at my site meter while ago and had a hit from Tehran, Iran by someone Googling "finding direction" in the landscape. I just hope they weren’t wanting to point and aim a certain direction to do harm. I pray not.
I get hits from all around the world about a lot of subjects that are Googled. Someone else this morning was looking for what a hematologist does. I know. I have one. Well, had one. I’ve given him up for the kidney specialist instead. He’s a nephrologist.

Speaking of doctors, I saw our cardiologist yesterday and talked with him about my continuing low blood pressures. He thinks they will level out and rise a bit, which the past couple of days they seem to be doing.
He is also very pleased that I’m off the four medications I’ve stopped and still seem to be doing well, other than the somewhat low blood pressures. In fact, he thinks I’m doing super well overall and says I don’t need to come back to see him for six months, instead of three.
So, I felt good about that. We’ll see . . .. I’m not so sure I’m quite that optimistic, but then when am I ever! I tend to be more cautious in my predictions about anything, including my health. I’m a cautious pessimist!
I’ll end on that upbeat note. Hope y’all have a great day today. And remember all of the people in California who are losing everything. It’s a very sad situation. Greg England writes about it today on his blog, including family members who have lost everything. Pray the fires will end quickly and people can get back home and have homes to get back to.
Cheers & Blessings to you all today! And remember, I’m praying for each and every one of you! Dee

I decided long ago that much of the time the best doctors can do is give you their best guess! But at least his best guess, if that’s what it is, is positive! Hope the bp comes up and stays up. As for being cold … my wife seems incapable of experiencing heat, only cold! I call her my frigid wife!
Takes me a few days to adjust to the cold too(also a relative term here in Texas).
Blood Pressure….what causes low blood pressure? I know a little bit about high.
Glad the doctor is not concerned.

Maybe the guy from Iran was looking for some cooler weather? Send some of that stuff down our way.
Great to hear your off 4 meds. That is always a positive when you can come off meds.
