G is for . . .
November 15th, 2007 at 10:14 am by Dee O'Neil Andrews
You can guess this one, I'm sure, from a grandma.
Grandkids!
Tom and I have 13 grandchildren and 10 of them are mine! My son David's children in birth order are Caitlin, Katrina, Victoria, Tiarnan and Brendan. My daughter Rebecca's two boys are John Austin and Keegan.
And here's a new picture of Mark's three who live here in Picayune, Zoe (on the right), Hannah (on the left) & Kayci (in the middle):

Tom's three grandchildren are his daughter Kristine's two, Julian & Veronica and his daughter Kim's daughter, Hayley.
My other G word is:
Goodness. Thank God for His goodness in this world!
Let's hear your G words, y'all! Leave them in comment today. Dee
Grandmothers is one of my ‘G’ words thank God for them! They have wisdom from experience, loving hearts, helpful hands, and loads of other ‘extras’ that make them a wonderful addition to my family!
God is the other G word. Without him…WOW I can’t even imagine!!
Grace–Thank the Lord for His mercy and Grace towards us. Sorry I haven’t been able to play all week, I have been busy getting ready to travel to MD Anderson this week for my Dad’s cancer surgery, please say a little prayer (or a big one) that all will go well with that and that my Mom’s situation will turn out to be noncancerous.
Blessings!
I was going to say grandchildren so I share in your thanks for them.

Oh I almost forogt! ‘G’ is also for our “Girls’ Nights!” All the girls in our singles group at church try to spend alot of time together, and occasionally we’ll get together to hang out one night, just us girls! We try to do so at least once every month or two. It’s been awhile, but we’ll be doing so tomorrow night and I’m excited!
My friend Amanda, as part of her Christmas gift from her company, was given a coupon for a large cheesecake sampler from Honey Baked Ham. So she decided to invite us over and share the wealth. We will go out to dinner then back to her place for cheesecake and coffee/hot cocoa. Maybe we’ll watch a movie. Or maybe we’ll spend a couple of hours just visiting. Either way will be a wonderful blessing!
How about:
Good grades.
Grated cheese.
Dee,
You’re invited to submit your favorite blog or blog article to be considered for the soon to be released book—–The Church of Christ is Blogging, (subtitle) The Best Blogs of 2007–Selected Articles and Essays.
Edited by Ben Overby and John Dobbs
Published by Fresh Grace Publishing, Rochester NY
Publish Date: January 1, 2008
So,get your suggestions in ASAP. I’ll be researching hundreds of blogs and John and I will funnel the group down to between 30 and 50 blogs before I send the work to my printer.
Please send me the web link and the reason you enjoy the blog. The book will divide into a handful of blog themes such as some of the following: Seniors, Teens, Inspiration, Issues, Family, Doctrinal, Motivational, etc.
The book will be marketed to members of the churches of Christ. I hope to introduce traditional print readers to some of the talented writers we’re blessed with in the world of electronic media by providing a wonderful sampling from each blog (with the blog author’s permission of course). I’m only interested in well-written, thoughtful, blogs which are updated with some regularity (daily, weekly, monthly).
Deadline for your suggestions: November 30th 2007.
Send suggestions to benoverby@specialtywriting.com
Thanks for your help! Please forward this to your favorite church of Christ bloggers or post as a note on your blog.

God’s grace and grandparents. I was fortunate in that I knew all of my grandparents well.
As Tony the Tiger would say “That’s GREAAAT”-Dee your grandkids are great and all the otherg words are great –
I’m especially thankful for God’s greatness.
God Bless
Charlie
