P is for . . .

I'm thankful today for

Prayer

and

Praise

Both give us opportunities to talk with God and to let Him know how we feel about things and about Him.

We can - and should - also praise all those around us who need an encouraging word and acknowledgment of good that they do in their lives.  Not some cheap words when praise isn't due as when no accomplishment has been reached, but powerful words to lift up those, especially children, who have achieved.

So, spend some time today in prayer and in praise and let us know here in comment what your "P" words are.

Add Peanut butter to mine!  I love the stuff, and especially on a graham cracker with slices of banana!  (But only when my blood sugar is under control, as it's sweet.  But, it's actually good for you, which pleases me.)

Cheers & Blessings to you each today!  Dee

Praise and prayer are wonderful. I am thankful for the Presence of God here on this earth, through His Spirit living in us. ‘P’ is for His Presence.

    I LOVE Peanut Butter!!!

Peanut … as in my grandbaby, Jackson “Peanut”!! Peace that comes from God. People who make life wonderful.

I was thinking Peace — I see Greg beat me to it. I think the “peace that passeth understanding” is something that only God can give and I only rarely experience it — because I rarely trust enough.

Peanut butter is also great -

    God Bless

My son-in-law Paul who just graduated from boot camp in the army. He is now in South Carolina and will be there for his specialty training and should return home in March, where he will be on National Guard duty one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer.

It was a special time to be with him and we are so proud of him. There were special moments as we ate dinner in a resturant and people stopped to tell him how much they appreciate what he is doing. It brought tears to our eyes. So, I am thankful for Paul and all the other “Paul’s” out there who are sacrificing for others.

When you get a moment, can you provide a brief bio and answer the questions–Why do you blog? and How would your describe your blog? Also, could you send me an article from your blog from this year and a link to the article/essay? With your permission, I’ll print it in the book. Send submission to benoverby@specialtywriting.com

Passion - I love to be passionate when supporting my son playing baseball, supporting my Noles (who got drilled on the Gators)Jaguars, Bucs, Dolphins, and Magic. Even more so, I love it when folks who are facilitating worship set the table so that we can respond with passion to God for all that He has done for us. This is kind of a passionate comment.

Partners- in life, in tennis, in every endeavor.

Pastors- no matter who you call that, leaders that have an interest in my soul.

Pinkies–mine hurts and you realize how important something is to you when it hurts.
