R is for . . .

Two words kept coming to mind as I was thinking about "R" words I'm thankful for.

Rest

and

Redemption

I kept thinking about how the Savior has redeemed us and bought us with His blood so that we are His and safe from satan's power and grip for all eternity.  There is rest in that, too, I think.  We can quit worrying about being lost and can live our lives fully for the Lord because we are His.

What are your thoughts today about "R" words?  What "R" words are you thankful for?  Share those with us in comment.  It's been interesting to see how many different words we've come up with among the lot of us while going through the alphabet being thankful.  We may have to keep it up!

Cheers & Blessings to you each today!  Dee

Relaxation … not only physically, but spiritually. Relaxing in what God has done on my behalf. No more struggle or striving to do enough good. It’s all mine as a free gift!

Robert Ross and raspberry yogurt. And that Robert wouldn’t dare touch my raspberry yogurt. Have a great week, Dee!

How about the color red. Love it. Both my cars are red.

I like red. My hair is sort-of red. I also like Reese’s PB cups! Mostly, though, I like relaxation, when I don’t have anyrhing to do or stress about. ‘R’ is for relaxation.

R is for Real — That may seem strange –often we want to escape reality –maybe what I’m doing right now is aform of that. But I an thankful for what is real — no not thephysical things that we can taste, touch, see, hear or smell — but the reality of love, ofpain, of joy, of sadness–andthe reality of God who gave everything through Jesus so that my reality can be filled with hope.

    God Bless
    Charlie
