I've gotten behind in reading so I've been catching up on the ones I hadn't read. It is cold here in Tucson. It is 5:00pm and it is 45 degrees outside. Our son, Tom Jr gave Tom a thermometer that shows inside and outside temperatures. We only have a few plants and we covered them a couple of nights when it got below 32, but now I'm getting lazy. It is supposed to be 27 tonight. I don't want to go outside. I think we'll have chili for dinner. I know what you mean about dead week. As for New Year's Eve ... our daughter will be in NYC and I told her to call me when it's New Year's there (9:00pm here) and then I'll go to bed and call it a celebration.
