The Color of Life

I borrow yet another saying from This Day's Thought.  It is "This Day's Smile" for today, but I think it has some pretty profound thoughts in it that I may expand on one day soon.  I don't have the time to do so this morning as I have a doctor's appointment to go to (about my depression) in just a bit, but I wanted to leave this with you to think about and consider.

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.  Circumstances and situations do color life, but you have been given the mind to choose what the color shall be.

On another note, the photo contest is over and the judges are working mightily on picking the winners for all of the categories, so look for the winners' post where all of the winning photos will be featured.  It, hopefully, will be one day this week - maybe tomorrow, Lord willing.

For today - Cheers & Blessings to you all!  Dee

Thanks for passing along these thoughts, Dee. Hope the appointment goes well and that you’re moving in the right direction.

Tomorrow??? That doesn’t give me a lot of time to clear out my closets for all the prizes and goodies I’m going to win!

    Whoo hoo!!!

Thank you for that thought today. I hate that I didn’t have a picture to send in - just couldn’t get it done this time!

Dee: I read your blog earlier today and thought I’d left a reply! I need something for memory, it would appear. I like that quote, and it spoke to where I’ve been recently. Thanks for sharing it.
