Joy Comes With the Morning

For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime.  Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Even with all of the sorrows around us in this life, may we ever remember that one of these days - soon, as compared to eternity - God will make all things for us who are His children right and good and joyful.

    I heard a beautiful reminder of this at a graveside service this morning! The pastor did the best job I’ve ever heard of reminding the children of that morning joy awaiting not only their mother, but them.

    That is a needed word for me, Dee. I’m in the storm… I don’t know if I will ever know true joy again. Even when I manage to laugh with friends, there’s that one laugh that is missing from the soundtrack. I know God’s word is true. I’m just not KNOWING it yet.
