I am trying to enjoy and cherish every second I have and make the best memories I can with those I love. I believe that God gives us the gift of time and how we uese it can be such a reward for us and others.

Since I managed to put my mother's watch that I inherited through the washing machine in the pocket of my jeans (I used to take it off while doing the dishes and put it in my pocket), I haven't felt inclined to wear another watch. I probably own another 5, all in need of repair or battery. But I just use my cell phone, and find I look at it much less than I used to consult a watch and yet am just as "on time" as I was when watch watching constantly.

I have a watch. Actually, I have two, but doesn't keep correct time. I don't wear one every day since I retired. As a matter of fact, I tend to only wear one when I'm going out, more as a piece of jewelry than a timepiece. I do, however, nearly always wear my watch to church...........I guess to keep track of how wordy Phil is being!! :)

I do wear a watch, but as Jel mentioned, look at the clock on the pc more often, since I work on it.

Most of the time escapes me because I am so busy and then wonder where time went??? 24 hours often seems too little in a day, but... we are as busy as we make ourselves, huh?! :-)

I think it's everyone all around the world. I know in the Netherlands everyone is racing against the clock as well. Sometimes life seems to go by way too fast. We need to take time to stop and smell the roses as well.

God's Grace.

A dear friend of mine received a very nice self-winding watch when he retired. One Sunday night in the men's restroom he was standing next to our worship leader who happened to have on the same watch. The worship leader was a little uncomfortable about this older gentleman looking down at him in that particular situation until the old man said, "Is that a (he told the make) self-winding watch?" Our worship leader replied that it was. The old man said, "I was given one of those when I retired, but I don't move enough these days to keep it wound up."

I refer to my watch very often but reading the above made me think of an old joke. When someone who was not wearing a watch was asked the time, the answer was "Two hairs past a freckle". :o)

I look at a clock often during the workday, either on the phone or computer, but not so much the rest of the time.

I don't often wear a watch because sometimes it irritates the skin on my wrist, or it'll just get in my way. (Same reason i don't like to wear bracelets.)

But I always have my cell phone on me and use it's clock whenever necessary.
