Praise the Lord, Gustav calmed down and stayed on course……for us at least in Southeast Texas. We ended up not evaucating and schools here did not go back until Thursday, waiting on people to come back home from evaucating!

All in all, the way we like hurricanes! I am like you, watching the lined up storms, but this morning, things pretty good in our neck of the woods, at least this time.

Glad you are home and hope everyone gets to feeling better soon!

We left Wednesday to pick up a handicap couple who evacuated Saturday to Dallas and we went to bring them back home. Got home last night late and I am bushed! Road weary and ready to stay home for a bit! Stay safe and only 8 more weeks of season left!

I would say I hope Tom feels better soon but there’s nothing like having your wife take care of you when you’re sick. It’s amzazing that we don’t hurt ourselves more often and severely when having to prep a home or business for a hurricane.

Sure are glad you’re safely home … that your home was unscathed by the storms spawned from the hurricane … and hoping Tom is better real soon. When things settle down, shoot me an email as I want to call you and get your take on a legal situation involving others in my family. Many hugs to you!
