Tom’s grandson, Julian Nguyen, a 10th grader, was on a Dallas classical radio station Thursday playing an excerpt from a Beethoven Sonata on his violin. His companion was a young lady who is a pianist and a high school senior.
The two were featured members on the station’s lunch time program in a big downtown mall and shopping area. Both students go to the specialized, by invitation only, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
So, take a couple of minutes to listen to their piece. You’ll be impressed, I guarantee.
