Tom’s been gone several days, so I’ve been going through lots of boxes in our guest bedroom closets that we hadn’t touched since moving in more than a year and a half ago. I also dismantled my old bulletin board shoved in the back that had my favorite mementos tacked all over it, but in style, of course. I’m very particular about how things look and the statement they make.
One of my dearest and favorite was my motto for practicing law. I scanned it for you here and you can still see (when it’s enlarged) the tack marks in it in the upper corners.

Never underestimate the power of suggestion visually. Always wear a neck brace when going to court.
Cheers, y’all! Have a blessed day! Dee

I love Wizard of Id!
I once went to a doctor where everybody in his waiting room had on some kind of brace. He asked the question, “don’t you want to get disability?”
The way I preach, I always wear body armor, a neck brace, and a cup. Just saying…
I think most lawyers-turned-politician would omit the first of those two rules.
