Digressions #2a & b – Mini-Digressions Within A Digression
Let me insert here a couple of "mini-digressions" within a digression before I get back to "The Great Road Trip of 2009," as follows:
First (Mini-Digression #2a), comment on what these two photos have in common:

Second (Mini-Digression #2b), please keep me in your prayers as I have been suffering terrible pain in my upper left back, just to the right of my left shoulder blade, for nearly a month now. After seeing three doctors in the past two weeks, I have (finally, correctly) been diagnosed as having a pinched nerve resulting from an aggravation between two cervical vertebrae in my neck.
I have long had three collapsed discs in my neck – C4-5, C5-6, C6-7 – due to degenerative disc disease. They have long been dormant, but somehow of late, have been aggravated.
Right now, I’m having to just rest (stay off my "neck," which holds up my heavy (8 lbs.+ head) by both lying in bed or in the recliner and taking a strong pain medication. I’m awaiting approval to start physical therapy and getting a manual traction gizmo to use several times a day at home, in addition to rest and pain pills.
I would deeply treasure your prayers on my behalf, as this is terribly dibilitating.
Many blessings to each of you today! Dee

the 2 shots are they of the same person? or of a mother and daughter at the same age? what ever or who ever they are very pretty!
#2 mini digression~ ya got it~ huggs
I think the first picture is of your mother as a young woman and the second picture is of you at approximately the same age.
(((Hugs))) from me too, along with petitions for your comfort.
Love,
JoAnn
You are in our prayers.
As for what those pictures have in common … I’d rather wait for you to tell me than to have to exert that much mental energy right now. At my age I try to limit my thinking to the basic necessities.
It is obviously not the same person, but somehow it is the same mouth!!!
) Hang in there.
Greg YA aint that old!
I’m going to go with you and your sister or you and your mother?
Lifting you up in prayer for your pain.
Are they sisters or mother and daughter? They look a lot alike!
P. S. I’ll pray for you!
