It sounds like you have an excellent doctor. My mother has had similar trouble in the past and was so glad she didn't need surgery. He did surgery on my sister ... said it was one of the worst spinal situations he'd seen in his practice and was surprised she was able to walk or function at all. She thinks he is one of the best in the nation (she's an RN / ER / Trauma nurse). This is, indeed, good news for you. At least you finally saw a doctor that listened to you and took the time to actually communicate with you. I am so glad you were able to see this doctor!
