It’s a hot late July Monday morning here in south Mississippi. How is it today in your part of the world?
Just to wake you up for the new work week and to get you going, here’s a question for you based upon the picture below. Both the ones of you getting closest and farthest to the correct answer wins a prize. (Really!) So, that should get your devious clever minds working.
Tom has a collection of caps. (How many of you guys – and/or gals – wear caps? Tom wears them all the time, and not just to protect his balding head.) However, the ones he wears most are limited by the size of the converted cardboard “shoe box” in our closet. So, the (contest) question for the day is:
“How many caps do you think Tom had (before I took them out & counted them) in his shoe box closet storage unit seen below?
The winners get neat caps, of course. And, I’m talking about neat! Tom has some really cool ones, which I’ll tell you about next time, okay?

36 … those little cubby holes don’t look like they’d hold more than 3 caps each. But Janice Garrison is probably closer to the right answer otherwise you’d not be blogging this contest! I don’t wear caps but my son has more than any one person should have. I do wear guitars occasionally. If I should win you could substitute a guitar for the cap.

I’m guessing 72. It’s amazing how many hats a man can stuff in a small place. I have several boxes in the garage that I’v cleaned out of my husbands closet.

I like your comment and really identify with it. I’m always having to clean out Tom’s stuff. But, ONLY after his approval, of course, which is hard to get many times. Especially when it comes to old caps & the like.

No idea about the number of caps but I had to say that it’s a glorious 19C (66F) in Sydney today – in midwinter. Our mornings are fresh but the days have been superb!
