Hi, y’all -
I’ve been meaning to post for a day and a half now, from here at my mom’s, but better late than never, right?!
For today, let me share with you a couple of recent photos of my youngest grandson (I have 2 granddaughters younger), Captain America/Power Marine a/k/a Brendan David O’Neil, recently turned 5 (although he was 4 in these photos).
First, I present to you “Captain America a/k/a Superman, Defender of All Things Good and Right” in this world of ours:
Our family is extremely fortunate in that Captain America/Superman has a secret night time life, as well, as “Power Marine,” Defender of the Seas:
But, above and beyond both these “lives,” Brendan lives as the sweetest, gentlest little child of God’s. I’m tellin’ ya – who could not feel safe and sound in a world that has such sweet, loving, gentle children as Brendan – and he truly is a sweetheart.
So, I leave you all these evening with these thoughts and this blessed song:

LOVE that song and have for years. I’ve never liked any of the arrangements in our hymnals, though. Gaither does it as good as it can be done!
You seem to be well protected!! Great photos.
Nothing like little boys…..except maybe little girls…they just each have a different way of pulling on the heartstrings.
I couldn’t listen to the song due to our District filter but the pictures came thought “loud and clear.” Some of my best memories are of Steven dressing up like your Grandkids.
That is one of my favorite songs. Thanks for posting it. Hope you are having a wonderful visit with Mom and your sister.
He IS a sweetheart!
P.S. – LOVE that song. Barney does, too. He woke from a nap on the couch to come listen with me!
Love the pics. One of the little boys at our chuch has a Superman suit and he loves wearing it. I haven’t listened to the song yet. Will come back later to hear it.
Hope you are enjoying your visit.
