Tom is still in the hospital seven days and nights after five heart bypasses, several complications and complete debilitation, but hopes to come home tomorrow, on the eighth day after.
Please keep him – us – in your prayers. It looks to be a long, slow recovery, but God holds all in His hands and can – and will – provide all that we need.

I am so sorry Tom is having such a struggle, which means that you are, as well. I was so hopeful that he would come through this, as so many have, with few problems. However, our wishes are not always granted. Will continue to pray for both of you that God will provide what you each need the most.
We have been praying for you both. Hope he comes home soon, but it doesn’t sound like he’s quite ready, does it? As of our phone conversation this morning, he has yet to walk. Your apology for not posting is accepting, though for the life of me, I can’t figure out why Tom’s surgery and subsequent lack of recuperation would possibly keep you from blogging??

So glad just to know that things are good enough for Tom to go home. Had wondered about his recovery and checked in a few times. You are both in our prayers. You be sure to take care of yourself as you care for Tom. This is kinda like Dusting and cleaning can wait, I’m rocking my babies. Well, blogging can wait.
