Poor Tom. His plight reminds me somewhat of the piano sitting in our den; it’s been there for probably 10 years. I’m going to take lessons one of these days; I really want to play the piano. One day, I’m gonna take lessons……….

P. S. I know exactly what it’s like to buy a very expensive screw (plus the shipping / handling costs) only to not have it work. I had to pay almost $10 for six screws (I only needed one) that you could hardly see with a naked eye only to not have them work. Sometimes those things are just out of our hands. It’s not like we are in some conspiracy against the woman we love.

Why is it I find this funny, but feel guilty laughing as I read it? Sounds a LOT like my late uncle and his saddle. He bought a saddle and kept if for years, hoping some day to get a horse for it. He finally got a horse, requiring a horse trailer. And fencing off 30 acres of land. And building a barn. And buying a tractor with a hay cutter. Which led to the need for a gas welding machine to repair the tractor, saving all kinds of money.

Then he got into scuba diving! I should write a blog about this!
