Hi! I know, I know. I’m getting slower and slower at putting blog posts up here. The one below has some fun facts in it. I knew some of them, but not all. See how many of them are new to you. And, while you’re at it, comment with either some fun facts of your own or just what’s going on with you in your life right now.
Us? I made some of Tom’s Taco Soup the other day (1/2 the recipe, it was so much) and it turned out great. I added some extra seasoning and things to it and Tom really likes it, so when I get it down pat, I’ll post it on here to share with you, okay?! It’s economical and delicious. Next time I plan to make cornbread with it. Tom ate it with tortilla chips the other night.
Cheers! And God bless you each today! Dee

Not sure that all these things are true but they are definitely interesting!
Dee failed to mentioned she used MY 25 gallon crock pot to make the Taco soup!
Wow, some of those were really interesting, like the on about lower and upper. I’m going to have to do an experiment with the scorpions!
I certainly didn’t know number 5 and I will try number 23 next time I see a scorpion.
Now, here are two more for you…
1) The typical lead pencil can draw a line that is thirty five miles long.
2) Pumpkins were once recommended for removing freckles and curing snake bites.
You know me, Dee … I really need to run all of these past “snopes” before I can render an opinion or, as the case might require, a scathing criticism! But they are interesting. I may try to find some fresh champagne and a raisin since Janice is going to visit with her sisters this coming week. It will give me something to do. What could be more fun than watching a raisin mysteriously going up and down? Or I can get a space suit and a can of beans and just see what happens. I’ll let you know.
I did not know about Susan Lucci….but I see the resemblance…
I totally agree about Martha Stewart….glad we got her off the streets for a while (sarcasm dripping)
And the whole scorpion thing is a good excuse to not leave the house without some liquor!!
I also wondered about some of those, and also thought they were irresistable.
One more (and I’ve done this many times). If you sprinkle black pepper on ice cream (or a frosty at Wendy’s, etc.), you can’t taste the pepper, and it will keep you from getting “brain freeze.”
