For years I’d heard about the world famous (check out the neat website) Perini Ranch Steakhouse on Tom Perini’s working ranch outside Buffalo Gap, Texas (pop. 463), which is about 15 miles southwest of Abilene. We were without internet access all weekend due to a blasted defective modem. (Second time we’ve had to replace it in less than 2 years!) I was completely bummed out.
